GETTING TO AND FROM THE AIRPORT BY CAR

The Bilbao Airport is located in the municipality of Loiu (Lujua), about 12 km from the city of Bilbao. The access to the airport from Bilbao is via the BI-30/N-637, also known as the North Bilbao Ring Road or Txorierri Corridor. The journey by car takes approximately 15 minutes, depending on traffic.

There are several routes to connect with the N-637/BI-30, some of which include toll sections.

Directions to Bilbao Airport:

To access Bilbao Airport by road, follow these routes to connect with the N-633, which is the main road to the airport.

From the City Center of Bilbao:

1. Head north on BI-625 and enter the Artxanda Tunnels (toll) towards Donostia.
2. Connect to N-637/BI-30 heading towards San Sebastián.
3. Take exit 18 onto BI-631.
4. Continue to exit 11 and connect to N-633 until you reach the airport terminal.

From the West (Santander, Laredo, Portugalete, Barakaldo):

1. Take A-8 (toll) towards Bilbao.
2. Exit at 123 to connect with N-637/BI-30.
3. Continue to exit 11 and connect to N-633 until the airport terminal.

From the South (Vitoria-Gasteiz, Miranda de Ebro):

1. Take AP-68 (toll) towards Bilbao.
2. Exit at 1 and connect with BI-625 towards Donostia.
3. Connect to A-8/AP-8 towards San Sebastián/France.
4. Take exit 104 and continue on N-637/BI-30 towards Santander.
5. Continue to exit 11 and connect to N-633 until the airport terminal.

From the Southeast/East (Durango, Mondragón, Pamplona, San Sebastián):

1. In Durango, take AP-8 (toll) and exit at 103 to connect with N-637/BI-30.
2. Continue to exit 11 and connect to N-633 until the airport terminal.

From the North (Gatica, Munguía, Górliz):

1. In Munguía, take BI-631.
2. Continue to exit 12 and connect to N-633 until the airport terminal.

From the North (Berango, Guecho):

1. Take BI-637 towards Bilbao.
2. At N-637/BI-30, continue towards Bilbao.
3. Exit at 11 and connect to N-633 until the airport terminal.
